Ampere, an electric scooter brand manufactured in India by Greaves Electric Mobility, has expanded its presence in Nepal with official sales now beginning in Pokhara.
The brand entered the Nepali market around two months ago and is being distributed nationwide by STC Auto Solution Pvt. Ltd. under the STC Group.
As part of this expansion, sales and distribution in Pokhara have been initiated through DNB Trade Pvt. Ltd., which has been appointed as the authorized dealer. The dealership has started offering the Ampere Nexus EX from Baisakh 31.
Greaves Electric Mobility has been manufacturing electric two-wheelers for over 15 years and operates Ampere as its electric mobility brand in India.
The company positions Ampere scooters around urban commuting use cases, with features including lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, smart connectivity, and standard commuter-oriented design. The LFP battery system is claimed to support up to 2,000 charge cycles and comes with a warranty of up to 5 years or 75,000 km.
The Ampere Nexus EX is the primary model introduced in the Pokhara market. It is equipped with a 3.9 kW motor and a 3 kWh LFP battery. The claimed range is up to 136 km on a full charge, with charging time of around 3 hours and 30 minutes using standard home charging.
The scooter includes multiple riding modes (including reverse mode), alloy wheels, disc brakes, full LED lighting, USB charging, and connectivity features. The price of the Ampere Nexus EX has been set at Rs 3,35,000.
